Anastasiya Loyko

Anastasiya Loyko is an artist from Ukraine, living and working now in Sweden. Loyko is a motion designer on the state TV channel Suspilne, Ukraine. Anastasiya works with different flows of digital art, including NFT. She looked at how to grow up the Internet and now works with the first step of digital visual reality - pixels. She describes the conception of new geography: “How are we orienting now? By hashtags!” For translation of her research in art, the artist uses the genre of video animation, VJing, video mapping, installation, painting on glass, and sculpture. Anastasiya Loyko is researching a question of art residencies, their art form, and organization, including Ifo - residence, Sweden, Symposium of contemporary art Biruchiy, Shargorod, Transcarpatia:dofafound, art expedition Kuyalnik and Papadocia in Ukraine. Loyko in her works mixing art materials and forms - ceramic, wood, ready-made, land art, and digital practice, frequently presents reality through historical artifacts. Her current work focuses on ideas of place, space, architecture, and concealed history.
